Hi G - great photos - trust you to get a 5 star bathroom! I thought the sunset photos above cloud level on the volcano were seriously lovely - and Antigua looks enchanting - woo - great cafe terrace and brilliant candles in the market - specially the blue ones!! Miss you loads - have fun. Lots of love - Dad and the crazy (often moody) Pickle. xxx

george! I love the blog! I can't wait to get to Guatemala already and i won't be there till the END of 09! also you've inspired me to start my own blog on this site for my Latin America trip - http://www.offexploring.com/hayleyandryan Look out for updates after Feb 4th!! :)
Meryl
Hey George hows it going? Good by the looks of your website! Wow I'm impressed - you seem to have been all over the globe since we were in the Ulaanbaatar orphanage together. I still get the off-exploring updates emailed to me so sometimes I have a bit of a squiz at the photos to see what you've been up to and what the latest country visited has been. I just finished my first year at uni (the uni year runs Feb - Nov in NZ so that we still get the summer off. Though that's been a bit of a joke so far, it's pouring with rain today!). Anyway, so I'm back in my home town Wellington and am moving into my flat TODAY - exciting! Having a year off uni to work until June and then go to Nepal for 3 months and then back to India for 2 months - went there after Mongolia & China in '04. Nepal is going to be crazy, me & my friend are teaching English in this remote mountain village a 5 hour trek from the nearest road - and even the road is practically in the middle of nowhere! Should be wicked, and India would be cool to cos I was in the South last time and next time I'll be in the North. And then back to uni in 2008, doing Development Studies so that I can keep on travelling to random places. So that's the 5 minute update on the last million months - sorry I'm so bad at keeping in touch!
Well I'd better get a wriggle on, packing all my stuff up. Keep those photos coming- they make us all jealous and wanting to hop on a plane the next day :) c ya xox

Dad
Hi G - Well maybe that was just a tad bit more information than your father needed to know - referring to both sets of cheeks (north and south) blushing during your ritualistic massage humiliation! Very funny. Its great to keep track of the G&N derring do adventures, with added hygiene/sanitation/hairdressing.transexual colourful detail. Im not so sure you can really call what you two are having as a 'holiday' - its so much more. Keep smiling G whoevers behind you looking at your behind - what a bummer! I'm off to Kalkan tomorrow, so hope to get into cyber cafes to keep getting my fix about your trip - dont worry I'm back in time to pick you and Nicki up at Gatwick. Chearlottes got a big week next week - she spends 3 nights at Roseleigh in Horley, so fingers crossed that goese well. Charlie is camping at the moment in record temperatures, over 36 yesterday, hottest in 111 years in July. Hotter than Marrakesh! Keep sending the brilliant postcards and photos - but no more anatomical detail G!! I love you - Dad xx

If it wasn't for this website, I don't think anyone could keep track of you. You'll be fairly close to my part of the world soon...you should swing by Canada in summer 2007 if it isn't too far out of the way (and provided I'm still here).
