Hi

I will start by telling you about our trip from Phuket to Ko Samui we set off at 7am we got on to a mini bus then we got on a coach then we got on another mini bus then we got on a ferry then we got a taxi then we got a tuk tuk and then we got dropped off in the middle of no where because the roads were that flooded that the tuk tuk couldnt go any further. By this time it was pitch black i think about 7pm and we saw a sign for the accom we had booked and it just looked like a dark wood we had to walk through we were walking up and down the river (actually road but was like a river) and i was just laughing my head off woody didnt understand what was so funny but i was either going to laugh or cry there was no lights we were in the middle on no where and didnt have a clue where my torch was we couldnt see anything at all. We must have walked past another sign because we noticed it when we came back down the road. My Back was killing from my rucksack i just wanted to get there we had been walking ages. Eventaully we got there and they hadnt made up our Bungalow so we had to sit around waiting for ages. Then we got in there and dont get me wrong the view from outside our bungalow was great overlooking the sea but inside was as basic as they come. The shower was freezing (this isnt the first time this has happened and can live with that) but the toilet i cant do with if it doesnt flush i am far from a snob but i need a flushing toilet i dont like the buckets of water and having to pour water down to get rid of your doings. There was no mirror and no space at all and the best of it was we had every creature you can think of in there with us. The roofs on the Bungalows are triangle like normal but they have a gap all the way around so anything can get in also you had to be carful in the bathroom because there were square bricks missing so you could jsut walk around the back and look in to someones bathroom and again every creature that wanted to get in could and would get in. I wasnt too bothered about this i am not bothered about creatures but we are now paying an extra 100baht somewhere else and we have hot water TV it is nice and clean and no bugs are in there so you have to be carful not to get ripped off but i suppose they can charge what they want when you just need a bed and there is nothing else around. Anyway we had to be quick because the speed boat to the full moon party on Ko Phangan was due to leave at 8:30 so we had to get ready to go out basically in the dark with only half hour to do it. I had to take woodys word that i had done my make up right (what does he know he is a man lol)

Full moon getting over there was funny first of all the sea was a bit choppy so we had to wait for a wave to break then leg it into the sea and climb onto the boat well i waited for a wave to break and made a dash for it but couldnt get on the boat so this wave crashed over me i was soaked waist down and it was unconfortable sand being all down there. The ride was fun smashing against the waves but all i was thinking was how am i going to get back onto this after the party lol we got there and it was mental something i am so glad we did there were people lining the beach and i have been told about 10,000 people were there dont know if that is the truth but it certainly was very busy. There were lights flashing everywhere you looked and glow sticks and everything everywhere. Different music to suit all types from RnB to dance to trace to techno to stuff i have never heard before. There were bars all over selling buckets which is actually i full bottle of what ever you are drinking and two cans or bottles of your mixer all for 250baht loopy juice though. There was fires all along the beach there were guys with skipping ropes lit on fire there were people walking on fire and everywhere you looked people were dancing like loons including me and woody. We met loads of people on the beach everyone is everyones friend you just start talking to people and everyone is so friendly. We took some photos of some of them so when i get them uploaded you will be able to see. I never noticed myself but apparently there were drugs flying about everywhere and woody must have been asked a hundred times if he wanted something obviously always saying no. They must just ask the guys because i never got asked unless they did ask me and i didnt understand and just nodded my head like i usually do when i dont understand someone properly and then just walked off lol One of our friends that were staying in the same bungalows as is decided to get some canabis and apparently soon as he got it all these police came from every direction and arrested him for it. We bumped into his friend on the way home and he had to go get his passport so he could get bail. We saw them the next morning and he had to pay 95000.00 baht that is a lot of money i am sure he has learnt his lesson now though. People seeling the drugs on the beach are more than likely going to be working alongside the police so it is better to be safe than sorry and not accept any drungs. Its not something i have ever been into but it even says in the lonely planet book do not buy drugs at the full moon party it is more than likely going ot be a set up. They must make a fortune at that party if they charged that guy 95000.00 baht for a bit on canabis what are they charging for other things and also he said the prison was horrible not something he will want to experience again so i think he has learnt his lesson. There was one more thing to happen that night and that was me being extremely drunk and forgetting to take my flip flops off when gettin goff the boat so of course they started floating out to see but me being me was throwing a tantrum because i couldnt get them so woody ran in to get them forgetting he has the camera in his pocket so it has broken. Luckily our memory card was saved so i still have all my photos so i will get them on here soon i tried last night but took me two hours and they wouldnt upload so i was annoyed and gave it up as a bad job i will try again though so be patient guys lol It is really hard to explain what the full moon party is like but defo go if you ever come here because it was amasing night and everyone had such a great time you just have to watch out for pick pockets but we were fine we were just careful and i will have the pics on soon so you can see what it is sort of like i wish i could upload the sound of the full moon party as well so you can all feel like your there but i cant so you will have to come yourself lol anyway nothing else to say when we leave Ko Samui i will update again and let you know what we have been doing or not doing lol Oh yeah one last thing i forgot to mention we thought we were allowed to be in thailand for 60 days with out a visa and we have just found out we are only allowed here for 30 days so we are having to cross the border and come back so that will be a waste of a day 15 hour coach ride to Malaysia to cross the border and get a stamp in our passports so we can see the rest of Thailand oh well never mind things can only get better from now lol not that we are letting anything get to us we are jsut taking it all in our Stride really.
