Hi Guys

Thought i would fill you in on what we did in Phuket. We actually didnt do much to be honest because one i was poorly most of the time we were there and two i hated it. We went to Patong and i will never go there again it was like bangkok-on-sea so forever getting asked do you want a suit, Tuk Tuk, jus the same as we had in Bangkok except here was much sleezier. The amount of old men i saw with very young Thai girls it was sickening to say the least i was thinking surely they dont have to do that there are plenty of jobs other than that and the men picking the girls didnt even seem bothered that people were looking at them in disgust. They are very open about it as well for instance we were at our bar playing pool and this old man came in with two thai girls and they wanted to play pool and quite openly said so your both coming up to my room after this game then and soon as they game had finished they all disapeared up to his room. Another man had a girl who looked no older than about 14 and it just looked so wrong. I suppose i dont know peoples circumstances and there might be reasons why both parties do what they do and who am i to judge but it is not something i liked seeing and if anyone else wouldnt like to see that i suggest staying away from Patong. There were good parts to Patong like the nightlife we had a good night out on the main road and it was a laugh everyone was dancing on tables and things and a good atmosphere i just tried to take no notice of the men with the girls. If i had of been there in a big group it would have been far better you can have a good time when there is just the two of you but it is much better with a group. We bumped into a Guy we met in Phi Phi and had a night out with him which was ok but we were all soaked my hair turned into a frizz bomb the rain was so bad. Oh yeah another thing that might have added to the fact i didnt like Phuket it was throwing it down all the time we were there infact it is still raining now and that is about two weeks on it actually started to rain while we were in Phi Phi and now we are in Samui and it is still raining but not as bad. Anyway all in all Phuket is not somewhere i would like to go back to i have left my glasses there by accident as well so now i cant see a thing. Oh yeah the beach was ok as well although again we were getting asked to buy alsorts from drinks to curtain tye backs (what are we going to do with them)it was like generation game one after the other trying to sell things and we were constantly saying no thank you. We managed about 40 mins on the beach before the heavens opened up again lol the joys. Anyway nothing much more to say about Phuket except i am so glad we are out of there haha
