We spent about 5 days in San Francisco & it was brilliant. We went down to the Harbour, from which you can see Alcatraz Prison & the Golden Gate Bridge. We also went on an open top bus ride over the Golden Gate Bridge & around the city. It was absolutely FREEZING! We had to use blankets from the bus to protect us from the freezing wind! We also saw Lombard Street, which is a really long, really steep street & is quite famous. The whole city was really hilly so we took the old skool tram most days to get about. The shopping was good too & we spent a couple of hours in the levi store! We met a guy who offered to give us extra tickets for a televised concert that was going on. He told us to meet him at a hotel in half hour where he was picking up the tickets from, we couldn't find the hotel so never got to go, although we convinced ourselves that it must have been some kind of scam!
