We came to Kaikoura to go on a Whale Watching Tour but we also found another seal colony on the way. This time we found three sunbathing on the rocks! The Whale Watching boat trip was incredible. We saw 2 Sperm Whales & around 400 dusky dolphins! The Whales you could only see their back coming out of the water & their tails when they dove down. They leave behind them a "Whales Footprint" which looks like an oil slick. The dolphins were a bonus & we saw them just before we came in. They love the boats and all come swimming over to show off, doing jumps and all sorts! It was the best bit of New Zealand & I would definately go back just to see this again.
