I woke up about 10, and was feeling fine. No hangover! Sticking to beer was a good plan. Jason, Andy, Mario, Jeremy and me went down to the beach about 11. Today was the worst weather wise I have seen while in Australia, very grey, cold, windy. Not an ideal day for spending it on the beach in shorts and a vest. I was there about 30 minutes before I decided to walk around the town. They had a hard rock!! Of course I had my pictures. I went for a cooked breakfast at an Irish bar, black pudding my favourite.

As the weather was so crap, I ended up going back to the hostel and doing fun things like washing and drying! On an off chance I asked if the hostel had free wifi, and they did! Result. The afternoon was really quite. But it was nice to do nothing. When everyone got back from the beach, they said about a Hard Rock concert on the beach with fire works! After playing a*******, (A nice name for a card game, Just need to remember the rules for when I get back) we headed to the beach. The band that was on was called............. I've ever heard of them, but everyone locally seemed to be loving it, dancing and singing along. Once all the acts had finished they started with the fireworks. They lasted about 5 minutes and were good, I didn't have my camera which was good as I was able to enjoy them rather then trying to take pictures.

I have an early bus to Byron bay tomorrow so I didn't drink when I got back to the room, but I sat and watched everyone else drink goon, and play ring of fire. I was nice enough to point out all the rule brakes making other people drink. It was so funny watching, they all got drunk within about an hour playing this game. They have new rules for ring of fire cards that I will write down for our next game in the Uk. It was about 11pm when I went to bed. Listening to them continue to play drinking games sent me to sleep!
