I woke up feeling rough. It hadn't felt like I even slept. I was still fully dressed and laying with all my bags that were on my bed. I hadn't set an alarm as I was so drunk last night. I just happened to wake up at 09:30 and I had to check out at 10. So I was rushing around like a headless chicken. I had a quick shower checked out and I must have looked so pale at that point. I felt sorry for the girls that were getting the 0900 greyhound. If they felt half as bad as me, they are going to have a rough journey!
I then see my phone, and Linn and Stein were waiting outside my hostel, as we had arrange to meet up and spend the day together. I sort of remember making these plans. We walked over the road from my hostel and had a c*** breakfast, bacon eggs and toast. After eating this and drinking my banana milkshake I started to feel sick... Something told me today was going to be a long day. We went and sat on the grass edge of the lagoon, it was nice when the sun was out, but there seemed to be a lot of clouds in the sky. I managed to sleep on the grass for a while. Scott from last night found us, and we just chilled for a bit before heading to a bakery for some lunch. I had a small pizza roll, and a bottle of water, every time I eat I feel sick again. Jess from last night also meet up with us. After eating we walked to the market, but it had packed up by the time we got there.
By now I was starting to feel even more rough, we walked along the beach, in the distance we could see a wedding. Right on the Airlie beach, what a wicked location. The sun had even started to shine. It was time to say goodbye to the group and I headed back to the hostel where I have about 8 hours to kill before my greyhound bus journey over night to 1770. The town with the best name I've ever heard! I might have already said, but this is the second place Captain Cook landed after byron bay back in 1770! Hence the name.
I slept in the TV room, and charged all my gadgets as the batteries were all running low. I still wasn't really hungry. About hour before my bus, I went to Mc Donald's to get a cheese burger and a milkshake. I finally started to feel so much better. Walked to the greyhound bus stop, and Rebecca was there. We had already worked out we were on the same bus, the bus. We left about 30 minutes late, I laid down over 4 seats and across the aisle. I went out like a light!
