Well not alot really to tell from the past few days. We have driven 1000kms in 2 days as between airlie beach and bundaberg there is not alot really to see. Especially as our guide book has decided to pretty much forget this area exists. It has also been raining pretty badly and thats not so fun to sightsee. We are currently in Hervey Bay, our leaving point to Fraser Island.

Yesterday the only highlight to the day was stopping in a tiny town and eating a hot freshly baked pie at Big Mamas Cafe. Yum. Kept us full all day. When we eventually arrived in Bundaberg the campsite we wanted to stay at was flooded due to the amount of rain they have had here in the past few days! So we decided to keep driving to Hervey Bay. We have found a lovely YHA campsite and hostel which has lots of free stuff to do like games, pool and table tennis. We also get free brekkie here so its all good. We are going to look up the weather to decide when we want to do Fraser Island. We are also very near a town called Maryborough where the story of Mary Poppins originates so we are going to have a look there as there are statues etc.

Apart from that, not alot to report, oh we did have to drive across a flooded road, well i didnt want to drive it so G did. Its a bit strange as you have to cross them otherwise you cant get to the towns.
