That day Shannon and I headed to Athens, yeah we conquered the Greek metro system we found our way to the hostel dumped our stuff and headed out to Plaka to go shopping. The next day we headed to Paros really early. We caught a ferry at 8am and got there at 11am. Straight away we headed out to see the sites, we found the butterfly valley - I swear the butterflies there were fake; all they did was sleep on the trees. Next we were so hot and need to cool down so we went to Irini beach, really clean but not as blue as Corfu. That night before dinner we went shopping, then walked down to the docks to take a photo of the sun set. Then CAM came running up behind us yeah we found CAM and Tanya we went and had dinner at Yiannoulis (we ate here every dinner it was so nice) and had a few drinks. The next day we met up with Tanya and Cam and hired a car to drive around Paros. We went to a town called Naoussa it was so picturesque. Then we drove up to Kolibithres beach - the beach known for its black rocks, the water was so beautiful and fresh. Next stop was Santa Maria the longest beach in Paros the water was so clear you could see 10m ahead of you. Next we went to a lookout at Kostos. Followed by lunch at Lefkes and then we went to Anonidli - there was this winding road which lead up to a church on top of a mountain I nearly died of a heart attack i thought the car wasnt goin to make it, it was such a steep drive, but it was such a pretty view - we then headed back to Parikia had dinner and watched a movie. The next day we lied on the beach until we had to catch our ferry back to Athens. We got back to Athens at 8pm I checked into my hostel and Shannon and I went and had a traditional Greek meal Greek salad, taseki, and a main yummy we decided to go and see the Acropolis by night - it was beautiful, all lit up and but you could see the scaffolding. That night there was an opera happening at the Acropolis so we were fortunate that we had beautiful music and a beautiful view. We went up this little marble hill which looked over the city it was such a magnificent view we sat there for a few hours talking then parted our ways that was the end of our Euorpean Adventure.
