Hello everybody from a sunny San Francisco!

This is defintely my favourite place in the usa, that we have visited for sure! Cant believe im 19 today, bit strange being somewhere else other than with my family and friends but its ok, thankyou all for the messages and the cheques etc, etc! They have been spent on good stuff!

Started the day off with breakfast, nothing strange there! But the hostel has all you can make pancakes in the morning, so made those for a starter to my birthday!

Spent the day, firstly on a San Francisco tour, defintely the best way to see the city! Saw some of the streets the pursuit of happiness is filmed on, and some of the neighbourhoods which are really nice! City Hall, where there is a big showdown about gay marriages and all that jazz pretty cool to walk through the middle! Next onto the San Fran-Golden Gate Bridge, really nice colour and beautiful city! Stopped for photos etc, and then headed up about 20-30 minutes up to Muir Woods, part of the Golden gate national park! Beautiful! Then onto Golden Gate Park! Saw where mrs doubtfire was filmed on steiner street! After all that, a little taken a back by how much i love this place!

Headed back to the hostel to freshen up, and then onto the shops! Had a big splurge on a little item, a new watch! I really do love my watches, have my armani one in my bag locked away but hannah bought a new fossil one, and i fell in love with a dkny, so out came the plastic! Thought i deserved a little something! Has been a strange birthday, just felt like a normal day, but i guess thats comes with getting old! Lol, i bet some of you reading this can relate to that!

Looking forward to tomorrow, and visiting alcatraz, will update further tomorrow!
