Waking up at 7am - had some breakfast and then headed to the shops for a coffee and for Tom to do some shopping. After this we jumped on our private bus to tikwandu. Tikwandu is a museum with icons that dates back to pre inca time. We saw some monuments and pyramid like buildings. It was pretty cool to see as they were so old.
On the way back we got off the bus at the top of the red line and got the cable car back down to La Paz city.
After this we headed out to the football. We jumped on the local bus which is a mini van. The one we got went most of the way there but not up the last hill so we got off. As we started walking another mini bus came past with people telling out the door achumani (the strongest) so we jumped on. The bus ended up being the supporter bus with the local chanting. This was such as an awesome bus trip up the hill.
After this we got off at the ground and bought tickets from a lady outside for 15bolivianos -3aus. The stadium itself was in the mountains with mountains on two sides. The seats were sandstone bits to sit on and people were selling polystyrene to sit on.
The game itself was average quality and the strongest won 3-0 which was awesome. After this we grabbed a taxi back to La Paz city as all the buses were full.
Then had some food at the pub and I got a toblerone cocktail which was served in a pint glass - amazing :)
