Test Run
A long day of airports, waiting, worry & finally safe & sound in Guernsey.
Left Keflavik airport ok but about 1 hour into the flight Geoff passed out for about 30-40 seconds. I was extremely worried & couldn't feel a pulse & called the cabin crew. He came around with a big cough & was quite ok but feeling pretty unwell. As a result we spent 7 hours in Manchester airport instead of taking the train into town & he was thoroughly checked by the very efficient paramedic Steve. No problem on the next flight - Aurigney Airlines to Guernsey on a smaller prop plane at lower altitude. We had some good views leaving the coast of England, across the Isle of Wight & coming in to Guernsey. Taxi to the Yacht Hotel on the waterfront but a room at the back with a view of the stone wall. Never mind - I was just happy that we were BOTH there safely.

Anne I wonder, do the Icelanders just pop to the snyrt as an equivalent to popping to the loo.
