Wow what a day! The day started with an earlyish get up so we could drive to Cairns to catch our ferry to Fitzroy Island. The drive took just under 2 hours but the roads are so easy to drive here it was a pretty easy journey. So today we had a little bit of a lie in - we didn't get up until 7.30! When we got up, we headed for breakfast in the lodge which was very yummy and then headed back to the room so we could check out. After check out we headed to the pool area to wait for our transfer to the airport.
