Island hopping Banol beach lunch Fresh crab. Tricky little guys to get any meat from but the taste was fresh and delicate if you put the effort in. I really like crab served with no sauce too so the fresh sea crab flavour shines.

Mahi mahi Overwhelming taste of ugh :) Really tasted like it was gone off. Funky mouldy taste and the texture even when cooked is slightly slipperier than normal. (is that a word :)) The name didnt live up to its high expectations. Time to reassess.

La Seranata restaurant. Calimari. Doughy heavy batter overcooked Squid. Used normal water probably. Oil wasn't hot enough either. No worries as Emma and Nik (the awesome Australians) would say :) the Calimari We had the other day completely make up for it.

La Seranata restaurant. Tuna streak. Was surprisingly still a little bit rare which was a nice treat. Great tasting fish. Really fresh. Super fruit mango salsa as well. Hand made well cooked chips too.

La Seranata restaurant. Chicken adobe. The sauce was nicely seasoned but still a basic chicken stew. Quality of the meat really let the dish down.
