Beach picnic in corong corong. Just 3 km away from el nido :) Nicest beach ever. The view from the beach is simply stunning. Tiny coves at every angle. Egg mayo, asian salad...cabbage cucumber salad with a fresh ginger and oyster sauce, pepper tomatoes.

Caught fish this morning. First proper meal cooked by us :) Seasoned fish with fresh ginger, garlic, chilli and bbq'd it :) Served with - sticky rice (Laos style) - Chilli and garlic paste for dipping- no pestle to make the paste but found a screw driver, used handle in the mortar , worked !) - Tomato pepper and chilli in white wine. -Chinese cabbage (garlic and oyster sauce) Also found wine that tasted okay :) Great dinner.

Mango sticky rice. Had this after fishing trip for lunch. Asked Kali for coconut and he found one in the garden. You use the older coconuts for this. They took all the coconut fruit our for us too. One coconut makes a massive sink sized bowl of dedicated coconut. Squeezed this in water for the milk. Boiled milked with sugar and salt. Then added the cooked rice. This is how we learnt it in luang prabang Laos. First time making the rice and didn't have enough...

Balcony lunch Wok fried Chick peas and peppers in garlic and fresh chilli Egg mayonnaise Simple salad. Sweet rolls. (hard to find bread that isn't sweet :). Haven't managed it yet :)) Cereal for dinner.

Went on a boat tour today. Saw gorgeous picture perfect beaches and islands secret, hidden, helicopter (yes they are their names :)) They gave us a picnic on one beach. You're starving after snorkelling all day so this was really tasty. Jack fish cooked in soy. Really fresh pineapple. The fruit here is bursting with freshness :). Eating a pic nic on a beach. Nothing beats it :)
