Fifth Course. Fish rice with chives cod was fried also lots of shredded watercress Adored this. So fragrant. The miso was tasty but the tofu as ed described .. was like deep fried sandal. :)

Fourth Course Japanese / spanish mackerel Cooked in a Miso sauce Burnt Sesame on top. Broccoli was deep fried to give a different texture too. V sweet velvety

Third Course. Ayo sweetfish soup. Perfectly cut chives. Piece of fish Pan fried on top. Textured heaven

Second Course: Sashimi Great amberjack Peppery vegetables on the side. Melt in mouth

Luck lucky lunch :) Esaki. 3 Star Michelin restaurant. Hidden in a basement. Felt calm even though had been waiting outside for an hour in the hope of getting a lunch time seat. Paid off. We were greeted with smiles and lots of bowing :) We ordered a drink and this menu was already on our table. Turned out to be a six course feast. Slightly terrified when we realised the bill could be huge but we had researched loads and all michelins had a lunch for between 20 ...
