Off early this morning for our tour to the countryside - Zaanse Schans (a village with lots of working windmills), then along the "cheese" route (saw pyramid-roofed farmhouses, and lots of cows - the land is too soft for crops, most of this area is 4 - 7 m below sea level). First up today was the Heineken Experience (with a few beverages thrown in, of course!) Filled in the rest of the day with canal cruise and Hop-on-hop-off bus. After dinner, we experienced great views from the Hilton Doubletree Sky Lounge.
