Our day started up at Castle Town and we walked through security into the Royal Palace, watched the changing of the guard then entered St Vitus Cathedral (only took 1000 years to finish it!). This also has great views of the city and Vltava river. Next we walked across the Czech bridge to the Jewish quarter and down to Old Town square, just in time to watch the astronomical clock chime 11 (apostle comes out and statue switches sceptre from one hand to the other)...

Drove into Prague and had nice views of the city and river. After drinks and dinner at our hotel, it was off for our 'Prague by night' tour with Petr. We first went up to Strahov Norbertine Monastery which is a great viewpoint as well as historical place (noted for its library). We left Vienna this morning and crossed the border into Czechia (the number one beer drinking nation in the world) and stopped in Brno (2nd largest city) for lunch. We walked down to the Old town, saw Liberty Square and some churches, exchanged some euro for Czech Krown, then had lunch in Macas. Started checking State of Origin scores and happy to see Qld winning so gave a bit of stick to the NSW people on tour with us! Continued on our way to Prague cheering on...
