A bit chilly and windy today. A lot different to yesterday so not much time spent our on deck. I went line dancing first then spent a bit of time trying to get tickets for our tour in Flaam (which I thought we already booked but they had no record of). Eventually managed to get 2 seats so celebrated with a Mango Margarita! Wayne not happy so we went to dinner without him. Ended the night listening to Matt and Sarah in the Rising Sun.

A sea day, so spent some time catching up on the laundry and exploring the ship. Cathy and I enjoyed the afternoon sun and even had a swim (can't believe it was 15 degrees, felt much warmer than that). Not real impressed with the cocktail list on the Arcadia but settled for a Margherita (served in a plastic cup - what the?) - I had to ask for a re-do, eventually they served it as a frozen cocktail and I was happy. Formal night tonight so men not too happy about...

Up early this morning to get organised for our cruise. Raj picked us up at 10:30 and it took 2 hours to get to Southampton (no delays, thank goodness). Getting on the ship was a smooth process and only a small wait. Our cabins were ready and luggage there before us! Had some lunch before the muster and then we were off. Breakfast was quiet this morning with over half of the group gone. Johnny took us to terminal 2 and we then followed Kassie on the shuttle bus to terminal 1. A bit of bother checking bags but eventually got in the right queue and got it done. Plane was chokkers but we had lots of legroom and even got a pastrami sandwich and a glass of coke. Our lunch stop on the way back to Frankfurt was the picturesque town of Rothenburg Ob der Tauber (the oldest and most intact walled city in Europe), known for its Xmas decorations by Kathe Wohlfahrt and 'Schneeballs' (a large deep-fried ball of dough).
