As we crossed the border into Austria the trucks were lined up for miles (the Austrian police can apparently be quite officious)!
On the way in to Vienna we had to drive through a hailstorm (the temperature dropped about 10 degrees within minutes) and then a flooded road where construction was taking place. A little further on there were cars under water in a car park. We saw the biggest industrial site yet - we couldn't believe how big it was.
Once we got to our hotel, we had a few drinks before walking down the road to find some dinner (der Schwabl, das Wiener Wirsthaus) and getting caught in another storm. Lovely dinner though - schnitzels for the girls and goulash for the boys.
