FARFRUMWURKEN
It certainly was a long day, but in reality, we made it home before we actually left. The power of the International Date Line I guess. After being away for 28 hours we were glad to be back in our own bed after 50-days of travel.
It seemed a little easier and quicker coming home from Auckland this time only a 12h20m flight to San Francisco as opposed to our last flight from Sydney a year ago. Beyond the five hours of sitting in the airport waiting for our connection to Vancouver things went smoothly. I want to put a special shoutout to Les & Irene for coming all the way to Vancouver to pick us up. They were sure a welcome sight.
After a quick stop at a take out food store, we crawled into bed and were off in dreamland before you could say "we're home". I broke a new record on my TravelPod postings on this trip, so thanks to everyone who opened the files.
It's good to be home, just only three more months until the next adventure.

Cajun Mama Renetta1 I really enjoyed your blog. You are a good writer and should probably be writing about your escapades in greater depths such as suspense novels. In the genre of James Patterson (my favorite) or Lee Child.......reading takes me places that I never expect to ever go. Thank you for your unselfish and relentless efforts to paint a picture with the reader in mind. Thanks again, Bella
