It's just one day until we board the plane for Sydney. We're excited to get back to Australia for this 50-day adventure that will include twenty-four ports-of-call in Australia, Bali, Tasmania and New Zealand. The chance to travel with some very good friends - Jean-Ann Norris and Renetta Godfrey out of Knoxville Tennessee and Ian & Wendy Hair from Sydney is an added bonus and will make this one-of-a-kind trip a very memorable experience. I'm hoping for a new TravelPod record for # of views on this trip so I need your help. When you get a TravelPod email from me, it would be great if you'd open it up and at least look at the pictures. Over the years since I've been writing these port-by-port recaps the number of interested people on my distribution list has risen trip after each trip. With some recent additions, it's now up to over 300 readers so I have the potential for well over 5,000 views. As always, I'm excited about the opportunity to photograph so many new places in this amazing world or ours. I can only hope that you enjoy some of the views along the way. Again, your comments are always appreciated, it helps me know that some people are actually reading this stuff, so make your thoughts known.

Ann hansson Have a wonderful time. Love the picture of the surfer at Manley beach. Cannot believe Nils and I were there last December. However he is a lot better now and we are setting off next week for a 2 week meditterean cruise to ease us back into travelling - hopefully soon we will venture further afield again. Looking forward to seeing all your pictures. What ship are you on?

We are fortunate that we have met friends from Australia in Ajijic and have travelled in Mexico with them. They are returning to Australia and have asked us to travel with them to various places there. Joe and I hope to do the Simpson Desert by 4 wheel vehicle .
