Said goodbye to the O'boyles, and Anyas mum who arrived last night, and got the bus to the border where we'd paid $25 instead of $20 and the driver gave us a load of rubbish about fees etc. Got to Phnom Penh and prepared ourselves for the onslaught of tuk tuk drivers claiming to know the best and cheapest places to stay, instead Sam greeted us with a well practised accent which was all we needed to hear to get out of there, his parting comment when we got to the hotel was, 'have a good time always'. Will try and sort out our visas for Laos, found a Jazz club in the Lonely Planet so might try that. Both too tired and legs aching from yesterday, early night to watch films in bed

Both slept in quite late, I read another chunk of Shantaram, getting there. Went for a tour of the city on a tuk tuk () moped with a posh trailer, tried the Laos Embassy but it was closed so will leave our passports with the hotel and pay them to do it while we head to the beach for a few days. We managed to get some photos onto the computerI got all pf my Art/ card shots on so could clear some of the memory card. Tom got his video of him with the M60 on which is funny to watch on the bigger screen. We managed to speak to Matt and Bec, Cass and Mum and Dad, nive to catch up on what's happening at home. Nice curry but my Mui Ne tummy seems to be back so headed home.
