Monday, 4th January

The day started as well as it could with my Work Visa being accepted, we were both really excited and were just planning to go out for a walk along the sea front and swim in the pool when I couldn't find the camera. We quickly backtracked and realised I must have left it in the taxi last night. Tom managed to get the taxi's number plate details as well as what time it came in and out from the security guys at the complex, we rang the company so many times with noone being all that helpful then we got through to someone who rang the driver, it had gone. I was completley inconsolable, I couldn't believe I'd lost it. We went into the City to Raffles Hotel for cocktails but couldn't stop thining about the camera. It's a lovely hotel and we had a look around the shops and the area near by then headed back. With our flight booked for tomorrow morning and Jack in bed we went out for supper with Sheryl to a riverside seafood restaurant, very nice venison, crispy squid and massive prawns, yum.
