Day 3 of the trip landed us in Madurai a smaller city in the South East of India. We orginally started our day at Madurai's famous flower market however, it didn't take long before us as the tourists became the main attraction. Madurai also boasts perhaps the best Hindu temple in the South where thousands pass through the gates, taking off their shoes, making offerings and lighting candles everyday. The temple was built in the 4th Century making it's age hard to even comprehend!
