How can one describe arriving in India for the first time? Hmmm, well there is the normal "oh India is such an assult on the senses!" or the other common "There is just so much going on, it's an overload!" but if you wanted my honest opinion on arriving in India for the first time... imagine having a hot flush in a packed elevator, an elevator someone farted in just a few minutes ago. Having said that after the initial shock which lasted probably the first half a day for me you begin to realise the chaos is actually part of the charm! The other part definitely comes as a result of the people and their warm hospitality. I can only speak for Fort Cochin as of now, however, if this is any indication as to what to expect throughout the rest of India, bring it on! Fort Cochin is home to some lovely 16th century buildings and great fishing nets/markets. Anyway must go for now, I have my fellow Indian tour buddies to meet!
