The overnight ferry has just left the port. I've taken a couple of seasick tablets so hopefully will be able to sleep through the night okay. They do pretty decent sized meals on the boat. I had a large salmon steak and chips for dinner. Then Paul bought us a heart shaped, chocolate mousse cake for dessert. Earlier today we visited Pompeii. It was really interesting. The whole village is still there and gives you a good insight into how life would have been during that era. We were able to visit the Roman baths, see the shops, brothels and even walk through the streets. The streets are still all paved with the original paving stones. The streets often flooded so there are larger stepping stones to cross the streets at different points. There are also holes drilled through the stones on the pavement that were used to tie animals up to, possibly for when people went into the stores. Anyway back to Greece. We lose an hour once we get there so have to get up at 4am (5am Greece time). Then we have to drive to the next ferry, hop on it and should arrive in Corfu at roughly 8am. I'm going to go and see if I can buy a couple of hours of WIFI soon. They sold out of the cards before because too many people had already bought them, so we're asked to wait awhile. Can't wait to arrive in Corfu. Really looking forward to relaxing by the pool and going out on George's boat. We also have a toga party tomorrow night. I'm still not feeling well. I'm going to give it two more days and if I'm still sick I'm going to take my antibiotics. Would have had it for over a week then and just don't seem to be getting any better. Still no luck with getting WIFI so might have to wait until we get to Corfu. Might have an early night because I think tomorrow is going to be another long day.
