Sailing Stockholm to Tallinn
Morning train from Oslo was late again (!) but arrived early afternoon in sunny Stockholm (looked quite different from last time we came!)
Unfortunately spent the next hour lost in the heat with our bags trying to find the ferry port, until some nice Dutch people came to our rescue and lent us a better map! Finally made it, plenty of time luckily! Checked in and found our cabin which was nice with a view. Had an eventful evening on the boat, which included wine on the sun deck, dinner, karaoke and disco dancing with some very drunk Estonians! We learnt some new dance moves! Moved on to Tallinn time meaning we are now 2 hours ahead, and also had very little sleep!
Early morning wake up on the boat for breakfast, and arrived in Tallinn at 10am.
Much more straightforward walk to apartment thankfully, and left our bags in storage before exploring Tallinn for the afternoon. Started with an open top bus tour (may have nearly fallen asleep!) which was very hot but took us round some of the sights. Then had a tour of the Bastion tunnels and visited Kiek in de Kok tower where we got some good views of the old town.
Went back to find our apartment which is very nice and has everything we need. Dinner at a Medieval restaurant where the waitresses were in costume and they served traditional medieval Estonian cuisine! Got a free drink of schnapps and sampled some unique dishes! Ate some rose petals to preserve our beauty (apparently!) so we don't age anymore!

Rose Are you sure it wasn't two drunk Brits leading the Estonians astray?
