Just a quick update on our life in Reading:

Recently we were able to volunteer and enjoy the Reading Beer Festival! This is festival is full of games, food, and of course beer! Over 500 different ales and over 200 different ciders were being served! It was so much fun!

We jumped right into working the games section where we met some wonderful friends and had a blast taunting, encouraging and chatting it up with the locals. Our friend Jim and his cousin-nephew (his cousin's nephew) had volunteered with us so we spent a lot of time with them. We spent most of the weekend either at the festival or at Jim's house barbequing and playing cards.

On Sunday night we got together at Tracy and Ian's home for a little game night. We had brought back a small bottle of the traditional Slovenian blueberry liquor to share. I think our friends enjoyed it as much as we did! The Monday after the beer festival was conveniently a bank holiday so nobody had to worry about work in the morning. It was a great night! We all were laughing so hard our stomachs were hurting!

Also, good news, we have a working fridge! It does not fit, but at least it works! The battle is finally over!

Next weekend we will be heading to Wales. More to come on that adventure!
