Still in the South Island which is beautiful all over really. Christchurch was very much like England and Queenstown is very small with only 9,000 people living there, although its packed most of the time from tourists. Loads to do round Queenstown. Went on a wine tour which was really nice and of course tasted quite a few local wines on the way. The hostel was lovely and quiet which makes a change from some of the other places I've stayed in...good facilities too. I did a day trip to Milford Sounds which was nice but a very long day. Got to see loads of Dolphins and the weather was really nice which made a change for once...bit of luck I guess. In Franz Joseph at the moment and hoping to do a Ski Plane trip over the glaciers but the weather isn't giving me much hope at the moment. Off the Greymouth tomorrow and will then go on the TranzAlpine journey which takes me back to Christchurch via the scenic route across the South Island. Anyway hope you all enjoy the photos...think I'm taking too many but nevermind. Oh and I've booked my flight to the Cook Islands...will be sitting on an island during April..nice!
