I'm now in the Cook Islands which is a 4 hour flight from New Zealand. The place is lovely and is is about 32km round. The beaches are beautiful and I have been collecting loads of shells to take back with me. The hostel is nice with loads of fun people there. We have a stray kitten at the hostel which gets loads of attention, plus he spends most of his evening catching all the horrible bugs which is good. The backpackers only costs 20 NZ Dollars per night which is really cheap and has a pool and is right on the seafront. Went diving the other day which was great fun and went down to 32metres. I saw loads of spotted eagle rays, a moray eel, blue fin trevally, blue devils, and butterfly fish. I'm going diving again on Friday after I have had the time to top up my tan. They are very religious here as they all go to church on sundays and they don't sell alcohol, which is a pain...oh well. I'm here for a total of nine nights and then back to Auckland. Thats all from me, oh I won't update the site with photos until I get back to Auckland as its too expensive here so sometime next week the site will be updated
