Another couple of good days in Beijing.....this is the life! Yesterday took a long walk round Beijing and got totally lost...but hey that's just me anyway! Managed to use the subway and change lines all on my own which was an achievement in itself. Last night a few of us went to try the Peking Duck as its a must and I have to say is was lovely!! actually eaten a full meal without wondering what it was!!!! Went to the zoo and aquarium today which was good..well the aquarium was better. My legs are killing me after the walk on the Great Wall and walking down any steps at the moment is proving difficult but one must get one with it. I've now booked my next trip which will be Shanghai on Thursday...12 hours train journey to look forward to...can feel this will be interesting. A fight broke out last night between the chinese people which was quite funny as they all gathered past our communal area in the hostel..we soon got out of the way...hee hee. The toilets have't improved since being here but what did I expect hey. Weather wasn't good today so hoping it will brighten up tomorrow and will then get the opportunity to go to the Summer Palace..will wait and see when I get up! Anyway thats all from me today
