Heading back to Kos we stopped off at Chalki to sit out a bit of wind. We found a fairly sheltered spot but still had 32 knot bullets for two days. However we still managed to get ashore for a lunch and look around. It's a very small town with mostly walking access only alley ways. Pretty as a picture. We saw the tiniest police car ever but we could see why with the size of the roads. Once the weather improved we headed off for Kos again but ended up in Tilos for a night because the headwinds were making the going a bit rough. We took a line ashore here too and are really appreciating the lack of swinging around having resisted the idea till now. Another lovely little town - getting ready for the tourists expected next month. Let's hope it's a good season for them, although we've been liking the lack of crowds.
Finally, the next day we got to Kos where we had booked in and chopped and changed our arrival and departure days a few times. It is Good Friday tomorrow so we don't want to mess them around too much as they could be a bit busier than they have been.
