Heading back to Kos we stopped off at Chalki to sit out a bit of wind. We found a fairly sheltered spot but still had 32 knot bullets for two days. However we still managed to get ashore for a lunch and look around. It's a very small town with mostly walking access only alley ways. Pretty as a picture. We left Didim last Sunday for Kos, Greece, after a very nice "Last Supper" at the Yacht Club with all our Didim friends - some of whom may be still there or returned there when we get back early May for our annual haul out. Thanks to Schengen (visa for 90 days in every 180) we have abandoned our Greek Island cruising in favour of getting as close to Turkey as possible where there is a checking out office from Greece.
