We are both okay, just adjusting to being away from home and the completely different environments that we are used to,is still kind of hard but hopefully will get better as we move on as im almost certain it will! We were awoken with the loudest thunder and rainstorm ever yesterday morning which was not a nice waking up too and scared us both a little bit!
We are both ready to now move on from Bangkok now which we finally do tomorrow (really happy about!!). It is such a nice and interesting city with some beautiful temples and different buildings however once you have seen it there isn't much else to do here! think we both want some fresh air instead of inhaling polluted air all the time! Yesterday was a good day though we got a tuk tuk ride to take us to key attractions in the area such as a temple which was so beautiful with a gold Buddha so big going right up into the sky!! Seeing monks around and the places that they live it was all really beautiful! Again we get taken to a place who wish to sell dom tailored suits, "you long man you need tailored suit" that being the way to try and convince dom into buying one!
Last night we already felt like we had too much rice and noodles so we opted for subway and kfc instead along with some watermelon we bought off the street!
We also had our first taster of khao San roads famous nightlife and its err mental! They roll everything out into the the middle of the road! Market stools included! And instead of men trying to sell you suits it girls trying to sell buckets of vodka! Me and Emma had decided to venture out in search of ice cream! Which took us to the far end of Kho San! Took us a while to get through the mass of people but was definitely worth the trip!! Mmm ice cream!!
Tomorrow is the day we finally leave Bangkok!! Waking up at 7am to check out and make our way to the bus station to begin our 10 hour journey to Cambodia, Siem Reap.
