We left koh Tao which we were very sad about as we both loved it there so much and had a short two hour boat ride to koh samui our next island! We were stuck sitting out side on plastic stools for half the journey getting wet by the waves which wasn't the most pleasant journey but we made it to koh samui and then got a 20 min taxi ride to where we were staying which was lamai beach that we didn't really know much about just that we had found a cheap hotel 10 seconds walk to the beach! Both the beach and the hotel turned out to be so nice with sun beds that we could use on the beach and a bar attached! We had four continuous beach days having a well needed rest from all our diving, along with trying to get a tan because we are both lacking!!! And of course lots of swimming in the sea!! Involving Dom just chucking me underwater when ever he pleases with him then just laughing thinking he is funny!:(
after our 4 days of beach and eating it was time to leave but we wish we could have stayed longer!!

Another boat trip back to Thailand main land and then a 4 hour bus journey (first bus journey in over 10 days was strange )we were on our way to krabi town purely to extend our visa! Arriving and seeing there was literally nothing to do here we hoped we wouldn't have to stay long however this didn't work in our favour as the immigration office was not open for the next 3 days, so we spent our days eating and watching lots and lots of tv!! Until finally on the fourth day we were able to extend our visas and make our way back to the beach which we were both so happy to be going to the beach and out of krabi town! This time we were going ao nang just a 20 min taxi ride away in the pouring rain!!
