We caught an early flight from Santa Cruz to Sucre; the flight was only half an hour on a tiny plane. The views were cool. When we arrived I said 'oh it's not actually that hot is it', liv agreed lol. Then we got in a taxi that I kept saying was 'old school' when really it was just old. The chair was made of plastic haha rofl. We took a wrong turn and the taxi had to drive round the block, it was mental. Our hostel was called beehive but I didn't spot even one bee, was gutted to be honest. We decided to go out for the day, had a proper faff at the hostel about what to wear cos we thought it was cold but turns out it actually wasn't!!! We were lolling hard all day about that. Nothing was really open cos it was Sunday so we walked around and looked at buildings and I kept being a proper creep and checking out old ladies and trying to snap a photo for my old lady collection. Some were even smaller than me so I could have abducted one if I wanted but I couldn't really be arsed. I kept talking about this building as a 'wedding cake' without elaborating on it just to confuse Liv and it was proper lols. After wandering a bit more we found a cafe and we both ordered sandwiches and a little kid hit me in the face with a box of goods he was selling. I was proper cool and chill about the situation at the time but if he'd hit 50 times harder and 5 inches to the left he'd have probably taken my eye out so really I only narrowly escaped. Everything tasted sweeter after the near death incident, especially the aforementioned sandwich. We soaked up some rays in the hostel for a few hours after that and I talked a lot about laundry which was super interesting for Liv. She loves laundry and other peoples laundry stories even more. Didn't even do any laundry in the end cos I'm proper mad and unpredictable. For sunset we climbed a big hill to a restaurant where at the top surprisingly it was sunny and I couldn't open my eyes so just fumbled around like the loon I am until a man cornered us 'chichas' for a photo which seemed to be mainly of my face. Would say it was cos of my blue eyes but they were barely open cos as I said it was proper sunny and lols. Liv and I then drank a load of sangria and were serenaded by a Bolivian woodwind band, the sangria took so long to arrive and I kept saying 'shall we just go?' But we didn't go, we stayed cos as I mentioned I'm mad and unpredictable. Once it was dark we headed into town and Liv said 'it's so late' but it wasn't even, it was like 7!!!! I proper rofled cos it's so funny when someone gets the time wrong. Finally we got dinner and I ordered nachos with salsa and it came with guacamole, so I just keep yelling 'WHERES THE SALSA?' at the waiter in the hope he'd either bring some or dance for me. Either way it would have been proper hilarious. Stay tuned for more crazy shenanigans tomorrow.
