Couple of really boring days. I have been really ill so spent the whole of the 3rd Jan curled up in bed. Having a lot of trouble with the whole visa business although I have finally managed to get my Vietnam visa all sorted and so now just waiting on my Thailand visa as at the border they can now only give you a 15 day visa not a 30. Been to the embassy soo many times that I don't even need to take the map with me anymore, I even managed to help a German touri...

Bit of a dull day. In a really weird mood, can't concentrare on something for more than 5 minutes. Really stressed out with all of the silly visa business. Think I have eaten something funny as well. Went for a run in the afternoon and felt a bit better afterwards. Treated myself to Mcdonalds afterwards.

Best day in Malaysia so far! Well apart from having to get up at 6 with a hangover to get on a jittery old bus, that wasn't as much fun. Off to the elephant park today. Really chilled out day. Had a lay in, went to try and gt my Vietnam visa sorted again, and luckily the woman suddenly seemed to speak perfect English! Amazing what someone can learn in 24 hours. Went to the Vietnam embassy in the morning to have my visa processed. There was a major problem though as the forms had apparently been sent to Sydney not KL. Not impressed especially as the girl wouldn't even check her files. Came home in a huff and sent a nasty email to the company that i sorted it all out through.
