Just two quick things I wish to share with you and I keep forgetting to write in my blog!..

1) We use the torches on our phones when we go to the long drop at night, so last week Vic went to the toilet with this same procedure of phone in the mouth and squat. Vic said she was looking and couldn't believe how big the hole was, gawping the phone dropped from her mouth, lighting the hole as it fell!
We did try to ring it but there wasn't any reception :)

2) This isn't quite as nice but I saw my first boda crash. We were going up the Northern Bypass, which is a very good road, no pots holes, tarmaced well. Anyway, the boda infront of us was speeding and next thing it's on it's side travelling down the road, sparks everywhere. That wasn't too bad, it was when a baby then came from the womens arms when the boda did a spin! The driver and women managed to get the boda off them and she ran into the road to get the baby. I can't believe how fast it all happened, I would of been lying on the floor in pain but they had to be fast as it was on a main road!
Just like most things in Uganda, things happen and people move on! We slowed down but my driver didn't stop, you blank it from you memory and get ready for the next event...
