Since writing on my blog at the weekend that we needed some rain, well guess what, everyday but one it has rained! I can't believe it. I defiantly don't want it now, not in our last week! So I'm going to say, as I must of jinxed it beforehand, 'I don't think Bulenga needs anymore rain, it's had so much!' :)
Being our last week, the school has been in preperation for Friday, our last day at Bulenga Modern! Looking into class today, watching P1 and P2 practising their songs and dances, it was amazing. They were trying so hard, it was very sweet and emotional to watch. Mr Wahab is working with P5 on a play. They gave us a little tester, it was hilarious.
I've bought all of the children in my class a maths set, as in P3 they have to have one and I'm giving them all a class photo and a personal letter each. It will be so hard saying goodbye to school but P2 especially! I just know tomorrow is going to be fantastic!
The children have been writing many letters to me, 'Madamu Emma, your teaching is very nice and lovely. Bye. Your friend Gladys' They're so sweet and you can see how much effort they've put into them. Tracy even bought me 2 china plates! :)
Today was a really nice day at school, chilled. Vic, Madam Samali and myself went to the main road were we have ordered meat and matoke. We wanted on our last day of school to treat everyone to a change of diet. So Madam Samali walked ahead, to order for us, otherwise we would of been charged mzungu prices. Back at school Vic and me just played netball and lounged around it was lovely.
I must go as we've got so much to do at home, preparing for tomorrow, cooking, cleaning and having a start at packing.
I can't believe our time is coming to an end..
Lots of Love x x x
