Vic has been on duty this week, although we've only been at school for 2 days, it feels like the week is over.
We went to Isabel and James last night, for our final group gathering, as Rosie and Georgia are leaving today. It was a great night, just chilling, watching many DVDs and eating good food!
Today is Heroes Day, so a public holiday, meaning another day off school. I think that's why I'm so confused about the days of the week as I'm not in routine.
I've missed not teaching my P2s, having to take P1 all of this week too. Whenever they see me in the morning they ask for me to teach them, 'Please Madam Emma' I managed to get a lesson with them after break and it was fantastic. They're so much easier than P1 and just the way they make me feel, very special!
Leaving school early on Tuesday so we could go to Isabels, Gladys was calling me by the classroom, asking me where I was going. She then started pleading, 'No please Teacher Emma don't know go' I explained why I was going and with a hug and tickle I left. But it just made me think about leaving, how hard it is going to be!
Anyway, the headmasters are trying to get a new P1 teacher for this week which is good.
I'm now asking for people to not send any more post to me in Uganda!!
Alot has been delayed and I would hate for other letters/parcels to also get misplaced and perhaps arrive when I'm not here anymore!
Thank you to everyone who has kept in touch via the post, I've really enjoyed opening my post box and reading about all that you've been up to :)
A very short blog, but it is only the beginning of the week, not alot has happened!
Until next time, Lots of African Love x x x
