Em's African Adventure
We had a late start this morning - our temporary truck came to pick us up from Saasveld lodge at 11am, we will change to our permanent truck once we cross into Namibia.
We loaded up the truck and got underway, we drove to Trawal where we pitched tents in the Highlanders vineyard.
The vineyard owner Sparky is a former Intrepid Travel guide and he did a wine tasting session for some of us while the others relaxed by the open fire, the Shiraz was very good.
Sparky then provided a beautiful dinner of chicken, potato back and little baked squash filled with creamed corn - yummy.
We headed off, well insulated, for our first night of camping.
