I had booked a flight from Cairns back down to Sydney for 11th May so i only had one full day in Cairns,and one last day with the girlies who i had travelled with since Noosa(Katie since Melbourne)! We spent the day in Kuranda, just up from Cairns, which is a rainforest town. Getting there is the highlight of it. To get there we took a sky cable that took us above the canopy of the rainforest in our own little flying pod which was lovely,if a bit scary. In the town we went to the markets,it was tiny but pretty humid. On the way back we got the Scenic railway which wasnt as fun at the cable car but still beautiful. That was something that i had wanted to do whilst in Cairns,if the only thing and we did it. 4am the next morning i crept out from the sleeping girls and flew to Sydney.
