hey, im just catching up on everything, currently sitting in fiji but i still havent written about queenstown!!
so i met up with simmons liv and robson, was great to see them. we spent a day going up the gondola in queenstown and went down the luge (go kart thingy down a hill) such a laugh. then spent a whole day driving to milford sounds and back. was about 10 hours driving in total. was defo werth it. its part of fiordland so its very dramatic landscape, waterfalls, all misty, and you travel down the fiord on a ferry out to the tasman sea. simmons managed to leave his lights on in the van so the battery was flat by the time we'd finished on the ferry. dutch guys to the rescue!! that brings me to tuesday, the day of the bungy!
i ended up doing it on my own as me and simmons wernt allowed to do a tandem. the girl in front of me had an awkwud fall, she hit her bum on the ledge as she fell off. i slightly hesitated but then just went for it. got the free dvd of it so you can all see it when i get home. its over in a matter of seconds so it was easy. would love to do one again, propbably a much higher one i think, the one i did was only 43m.
straight after jumping we had to hit the road to get up to christchurch. stopped at some lord of the rings sites, wasnt much there but at least i can say iv seen them. we all swam in this cold glacial lake called lake tekapo, its right in front of mt cook (highest mt in nz) gorgeous day no clouds but the water was still cold.
got back to christchurch in the evening to meet up with joel. he flew to OZ the next day so i had to say goodbye, was hard after spending 6 months with him. will be meeting up in thailand in 2 months of so, cant wait!
