right this should have been written a week ago!

so i arrived ni brsibane, met up with joel, and head straight for byron bay, visiting surfers paradise and nimbin (a hippy colony). stayed in byron for a good few days. its manily just beaches and backpacker magnet. expensive and not actually anything to do there apart from surf n sunbathe. seeing i still cudnt go in the water i just sat on the grass. got to say oz isnt one of my most favuorite places. i think i was ready to get back to the adventure of being somewhere challenging, oz is too easy, its like being at home!

travelled back to brisbane and got a free upgraded room which was nice. attempted to go to the zoo by train but got off at the wrong station and there were no more trains cmoing for that day so we just had to travel back to the city. bit of a waste day. managed to get to the zoo the following day but i had to rush back to catch a flight. saw all the usual ozzy animals, and watched a croc show. i got to the airport 2 hours b4 my flight but once i was there, they told me i had the times wrong and that id already missed it!!so handing over money, i got new flights for the next day flying via perth. slightly annoyed but nevermind hey.

so yeah that was oz, not much was done there but i can go back another year n do it properly. xxx
