LAZY TUESDAY! Slept in until... wait for it... 6:45am, woo! We mucked around and had a late breakfast, the boys rolled out of bed at 9am so they got their wish. They refused to entertain the idea of getting out of their PJs before lunch!

Chay and I decided to go check out a couple of shops a few blocks away, we left the boys with the TV and other entertainment devices, along with instructions not to kill each other - potentially a tall order!

We found a few things to add to our shopping extravaganza, including an extra bag to help get it all home! We made it back to the hotel for a late lunch, happy to find both boys still in their PJs and very much alive. We spent the afternoon down by the pool relaxing, then decided to try out Shorebird for dinner. Right on the beach, its a BBQ style restaurant (cook your own) with a huge salad bar, we really liked it. The frozen margaritas are pretty good too!

As we walked back along the beach we found out there were fireworks scheduled for 8pm, only an hour to wait. We grabbed some cocktails for us and juice for the kids from a beachside bar, found a spot along the wall and settled in to wait. I ended up chatting to the man next to me, he was there on a work trip with a number of others, something to do with designing submarines!

The fireworks lasted a whole 3 minutes, but the hour long wait was well worth it for the excellent display.
