Back on dry land on our way back to Hanoi for our last bowl of chicken noodle soup before a flight tommorow. Halong bay was beautiful and does live upto the photos however I would never stay on a boat or on the island again. I would just do a one day tour of cruising around all of halong bay and maybe a kayaking into the caves and then back to mainland for the night. Jord is still furious about it and while waiting for the bus he was ever looking for the guy who sold us our ticket who seemed to do a disappearing at, all coincidence... I think not. Anyway only two weeks until my mom and dad are here, how exciting! Lots of things to pack in before then including a hell of a lot of miles, advanced scuba diving, a full moon party and a visa run! Crazy couple of weeks ahead but firstly to survive the bus journey back to Hanoi in horrendous weather, monsoon season, wish us luck!
