Today we have booked to move on further up north in Vietnam to abeach town called Na Trang, it's about at 10-12 hour bus ride..again but it has beds and wifi so it shouldn't be too bad. Today we visited the Cu Chi tunnels, about 2 hours out of the centre of Ho Chi Minh. These are the tunnels which the Vietnamese used during the war to communicate and hide from the north and the American bombers. The tunnels are tiny, I could only just fit, the openings are 30cm by 60cm and the tunnels only slightly wider. Even though we have only been here a couple of days I feel like we manage to see and do so much. Today we started off at the Ho Chi Minh national museum, a beautiful building which explained the history of the city, it's story and development and it's struggle for independence. It also had bunkers which you could go down and walk through the maze of tunnels in which it still has original furniture in the living room, a little scary at times but really interesting...

We arrived in Ho Chi Minh at around 8pm after a 10hour journey. It was a suprisingly comfortable though as we we're put on a sleeping bus which meant each of us got a reclining seat which went all the way back allowing us to sleep for most of the journey.
