We spent a night in halong city last night so we had time to look around and find the best tour to book. The city was pretty crap but we found a tour and it starts this morning. The tour is 4 days and 3 nights- 1 night on a boat and 2 nights on an island called Cat Ba. During the day we visited caves and cruised around the bay which was really nice and the sites we're so pretty. The boat we we're on was nice and we had meals made for us including freshly caught fish which was yummy- well for me, again jord hated it and just stuck to rice! After tea it was then time to check into our room, however the people had clearly over booked and said just for that night we we're going to stay on another boat- I went and saw the room, it was not what we had paid for and wasn't very nice at all. Obviously we complained and argued with the tour guide ect and after 2 hours of shorting and screaming and swearing the guy got very nasty and threatened to kill Jordan and it all got pretty nasty. I got a bit scared I mean in the sea stranded on a boat for the night with a crazy 4ft Vietnamese man wanting to kill us- in the end we had to give in for our safety and take the minging room. But he paid for it the rest of the trip as we gave him hell for it the next few days.This was just the first past of the scamming business up here...
