Ellie's Travels
Hope your all well back home, missing you all loads. Were having the time of our lives and making the most of our fantastic opportunity.Budget already gone out the window, started by writing everything down but this hasnt happened for 3 weeks. Oh well my pedicure was only 2 dollars, which is a bargain.
Had a great day today went to a park that had everything you could imagine from dragons made of spoons, to bonsai and cactus gardens, fairground ride, which we had to go on a few.
Went in an ice chamber, nearly everything was carved out of ice including the stairs we had to walk down. There were penguins, ice carriages it was very cold and got give some beautiful coats.
Then we found another part to the park the zoo. Some of it was very cruel Mark peeped through the door of the animal circus and they had taken the monkeys out of the tiny cages and making them jump through hopes of fire, I was screwing about it. animals are a different culture out here but it was hard to see the animals obviously distressed and not be able to do anything.
So I fed the monkeys all of Marks biscuits and one shook my hand.
Then we stopped off at our favourite noodle place where all the locals eat. Had beef noodle soup washed down with Saigon lager.
Tomorrow we fly out to Singapore, which has some really up market shops. We are starting to feel abit scruffy now hate all my clothes, seem to wear the same outfit and just keep washing it. Mark ok his bought 10 tshirts.
Rucksack weighs a tonne have bought 30 cds 36p each and 6 dvds, the latest ones like King Kong. Hope their not being filmed from back of Cinema and you see the odd head bob up going to the toilet.
